Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for an Anticipated Middle School Reading Specialist.
The position will focus on students who are struggling in reading at the middle school level. Responsibilities include teaching reading intervention classes, collaborating with classroom teachers and building principals, assessment, review of data, and planning and implementing interventions for students. Experience with implementing standards-based programming is preferred. The ability to work positively with parents, administrators, and other faculty is essential.
PA Reading Specialist certification is required.
