Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of an  Intervention Paraeducator at Pleasant Gap Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

The Intervention Paraeducator will assist students (K-5) by providing academic interventions, behavior interventions, and help to improve social-emotional learning.  The Intervention Paraeducator will assist in providing instruction and support to assigned students in an educational setting, which is designed to promote intellectual, behavioral, emotional, and social growth.  The Intervention Paraeducator will work with students to provide support through classroom instruction, small group instruction, and individual group instruction. 

 

Work Day:     6 hours/day
Work Year:    180 days/year; 9 month position; 11 paid holidays
Level:            C
