Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for a 2nd Shift Custodian position at the Central Office/Floater.
This position provides and maintains a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff, and community. In addition, the custodian keeps the district’s buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program and everyday work flow.
Qualifications:
Minimum: High School Diploma/GED is required
Experience:
One year of work related experience is recommended.
Other skills:
Ability to operate and use various custodial, maintenance and ground care equipment and products. Ability to read basic operating instructions and safety labels.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide large numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Effective communication skills.
Work Day: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)
Work Year: 245 days; 15 paid holidays
Level: D – Minimum Pay Rate + shift differential
This position is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
