Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of an Accounting Clerk located in the Administration Office.

 

This position is responsible to process, maintain and reconcile the accounts payable/purchasing and other business records for the District.  Duties include paying invoices, matching purchase orders and reconciling statements from vendors.  This position is also responsible for accounting for Food Service deposits, annual bidding of supplies and other duties as assigned by the Director of Fiscal Affairs.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum:  High School Diploma

Preferred:  Two year Business Degree

                  Prior business office experience

Required:  Good communications skills and excellent attention to detail

 

Work Day:      7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.

                       (7.5 hrs/day, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)

Work Year:     12-months/year

Level:             F

Testing:          Written Test Required
