Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of anticipated Special Education Teachers within the district.
Candidates should have knowledge of progress monitoring, the (re)evaluation and Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, and experience working with students who have a broad range of disabilities. Primary responsibilities include providing direct reading, writing, and math instruction to identified students, providing accommodations to students with disabilities in the general education classsroom, working with general education teachers and para educators, and monitoring the progress of students on a caseload.
