The Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of a Van Driver.

Duties:

To transport students to and from assigned stops, as well as provide and maintain a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff and community. Additional duties as needed in the custodial department. 

Qualifications:

 Academic:  Minimum – High school diploma.

                  Preferred – Post secondary school training.

 Driving:      Clear DMV report is required.

Experience:   

Minimum – One year of work-related experience in driving school bus or van.

Other Skills:

Mathematical – Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Effective communication and problem solving skills.

Work Day:                   7:00 am - 4:00 pm; 8 hour/day, 1 hour unpaid lunch

Work Year:                  12 months per year; 245 days per year; 15 paid holidays

Level:                           E 

This position is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
