Bellefonte Area School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Coach Junior High Football Coach.
The Junior High Head Football Coach is responsible for overseeing aspects of the junior high program in coordination with the Varsity program. Program responsibilities include but not limited to: participant and community relations, instructing participants, overseeing safety, supervising instructors and volunteers, budgeting, assisting in scheduling, attend meetings such as coaching clinics, rule interpretation, meetings, and any league meetings, prepare reports such as early dismissal times, team rosters, and end of the season reports. The successful candidate will be required to adhere to all local, state and federal laws, directives of the School Board and PIAA.
Minimum of three years Jr. High offensive / defensive line coaching experience. Varsity coaching experience preferred, but not required. Rugby style tackling experience also preferred.
Coaches are to be exemplary role models for the athletes, school, community and District.
